“. . .like I was sayin’, shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it.”
Good luck to Gary and the Lt. Dan Band Friday night as they perform a FREE concert as part of the Beaufort, South Carolina Shrimp Festival. Gary will also be raising funds for the Sinise Charitable Foundation by selling t-shirt and wristbands to help cover the expenses of some of the severely injured veterans who will attend the event.
Forrest Gump fans may recall that scenes for the movie were filmed in Beaufort, and Lynda Figueredo of WIST-TV recently spoke with Gary about returning to this historic southern town on South Carolina’s treasured coast. (See WIS-tv coverage here).
