The Forgotten
Here’s a short piece about The Forgotten from Sci-Fi Wire.

Gary’s fall movie, The Forgotten, is set for release on September 24 in the U.S.
We are still anticipating an October 31 wide release for The Human Stain. The Big Bounce is currently scheduled for a January release.
Sadly, the “new” (October 7) release of A Midnight Clear does not appear to be widescreen (at least not the copy I received from Amazon). This may simply have been a website error on Amazon’s part. If anyone knows differently, or has actually seen a copy of AMC labeled “widescreen” somewhere, please drop us a line at sinisefans @ sinisefans.com. Sorry to be the bearer of sad news.
Some miscelleanous news and updates!
Gary will play the capcom on a new ride at Disney World called Mission Space. It simulates a mission to Mars and will open in December, accomodating 14,000 visitors per day.
The latest word on release dates is September for The Big Bounce and November or December for both The Human Stain and the TV movie Fallen Angel.
Many thanks to Bob Sinise for these updates!
As we promised… here is the link to pre-order the Of Mice and Men Special Edition from Amazon.com. Amazon’s pre-order price is only $14.99. According to Amazon, the release date is February 4, even early than we’d previously heard. Enjoy the DVD, and thanks for your support!
Big Of Mice and Men news! On March 4, 2003, MGM will re-release the 1992 version of John Steinbeck’s classic Of Mice and Men. Featuring a 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer and English 2.0 surround track, supplements include an audio commentary with Gary Sinise, 2 new featurettes, deleted scenes with optional commentary, makeup tests, and the trailer. Retail is $19.95. Amazon doesn’t have this listed for pre-order yet, but as soon as they do we will post a link.
In less wonderful news, we hear rumour that Miramax might be pushing The Human Stain back to fall 2003. We will post more information as we receive it.
We’ve had several inquiries about a release date for The Human Stain — movies.com lists the release as “first quarter 2003″ and that’s really all we know at this point. For a synopsis, visit the movies.com page on the film.

Now available on DVD and video: A Gentleman’s Game. You can order it here from Amazon.com.
Daily Variety reports that Gary is set to star in The Big Bounce, based on the novel by Elmore Leonard. Gary plays development magnate Ray Ritchie. The movie is set to begin filming in Hawaii in late October under the direction of George Armitage (Grosse Pointe Blank.)
We’ve heard that A Gentleman’s Game will be released on DVD August 20. You can pre-order it now at Amazon.com. We also hear that the disc has a very cool “making of” segment, so be sure to check it out if you rent or purchase the disc.
Gary is listed in the cast of Made-Up, a film directed by Tony Shaloub (Gary’s Impostor co-star.) The film is described by the IMDB as “A look at how our cultural obsession with youthful good looks affects women who are told their value is dependent on their appearance.” We will post more details (including release information) as it becomes available.
Gary appears in A Gentleman’s Game, a drama about a group of characters whose lives are transformed one summer at an east coast country club. Based on a novel by Tom Coyne, the film also stars Mason Gamble, Philip Baker Hall and Dylan Baker. The latest word we have is that this film will not have a theatrical release, at least in the U.S. We will post any information regarding other releases (cable and/or video/DVD) as soon as we learn of it.
