Casino Rama coverage at Blappers
Matt Ross was kind enough to advise us that his blog at blappers.com has extensive coverage of the LDB at Casino Rama. The posts are all on the main page for now, and should be in the July 2006 archive after they scroll off. Go down to “Lt. Dan Band Live Report #1″ and read up from there.
Thanks for the heads up, Matt!
Riverfest
Very positive coverage from The Daily Times (Ottawa, IL) here and here.
We received an email from Shayla, who reports the band was “awesome” and the crowd was great.
Also, demonstrating his continued committment to veterans’ issues, Gary is scheduled to appear this weekend at the Disabled American Veterans‘ convention this weekend in Chicago.
New USO Date
Gary and the Lt. Dan Band will be performing a concert for soldiers at Fort Carson, Colorado on August 12.
As always, we’d love pictures and/or reports from anyone who attends — sinisefans at sinisefans.org.
Riverfest and Open Season
The Peoria Journal-Star has a nice article about Gary and his participation in Riverfest.
If you’re interested in finding out more about the animated feature Open Season, in which Gary performs as voice talent, check out this page at Movieweb for a trailer, featurette, and more. Open Season opens on September 29 in both regular theaters and IMAX 3-D.
Lt. Dan Band in Canada this Weekend
The Lt. Dan Band will be performing at Casino Rama in Orilla, Ontario tonight and tomorrow night at 9 pm. Tickets are still available online (and are quite a bargain at under $30 each).
If you make it to the show, send us a report and/or pictures (to sinisefans at sinisefans.org) and we’ll post them here. Just let us know how you’d like to be credited — full name, first name only, whatever.
Catching Up
Sorry, all. I was at ComicCon with an author friend last weekend (her books totally rock, btw, you should read them!) and I got way behind on everything. (If you are interested, my report, such as it is, is in my personal journal.)
Anyway! Back now. Tired, but back. So here’s a quick round-up of news items:
