Operation Iraqi Children gets AT&T $25,000 donation

The Chicago Tribune reports that Gary received a $25,000 grant from AT&T on Sunday. He accepted the grant on behalf of the OIC at a ceremony at Chicago’s Navy Pier. The donation will support the organization’s mission of bringing school supplies and other essentials to Iraqi children. Concerned citizens donate supplies, which are then delivered to the children by American soldiers.

More than 200,000 school kits and other items have been sent to Iraq through the program.
